receive bikes for reading books

Thirty-seven Colvin students
received bikes from Boeing and Wal-Mart for reading one million or more

Thirty-seven students at Colvin Elementary were
awarded bikes for reading one million or more words. Three students read
more than 2 million words and one student read more than 3 million words.
Thirty-eight students read 500,000 or more words and were given a medal for
their accomplishment.
The bikes were
donated by Boeing and Wal-Mart as an incentive
to get the students to read. |
